Isle of Man, 24 June 2020 – The Chartered Governance Institute’s Isle of Man Branch is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a webinar about psychological resilience in the post-COVID-19 age
on Wednesday, 8 July 2020.
Hosted by professional psychotherapist, coach and trainer Richard Reid, CEO of Pinnacle Wellbeing Services, the webinar will focus on how to better support yourself and your teams psychologically post-Coronavirus. Key areas covered will include how to use adversity as a catalyst for growth, as well as showing a variety of practical ideas for maintaining and improving wellbeing and performance on both an individual and collective basis.
Speaking in advance of the event Chris Bolt, chair of the Institute’s Isle of Man branch says:
“Coronavirus has had a huge psychological impact across the globe, with anxiety and fear consuming a large part of the population as people avoid physical contact with others and hand sanitiser is suddenly everyone’s new best friend. Richard is a published author and a media spokesperson for his field, having appeared on Sky 1, BBC Breakfast, Bloomberg, This Morning and GMTV. He is also an adviser to leading organisations including Sophos, Novartis, Morgan Stanley, Transport for London and City of London Police, and I look forward to hearing his insight into how people can come through this pandemic psychologically intact. As psychological wellbeing is so important, we are throwing the webinar open to everybody with an interest in the subject and are also making the event free to attend.
The webinar will run from 12.30-13.30 on 8 July. People can register to attend through Eventbrite at
