Jersey, 27 January 2015 – ICSA, the Institute for professionals working in governance and compliance, is holding an introduction to their new Level 4 International Finance and Administration (IFA) qualifications on 29 January at the Royal Yacht Hotel, Weighbridge, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3NF. The event is open to all and will include presentations by Kelly Padwick, Qualification Development Manager and Theresa Minnie, Head of Client Relations and Members.
The event will:
“Students of our new qualifications will benefit from fewer and shorter examinations, as well as a ‘step-on/step-off’ approach that allows them the option of studying for a larger or smaller qualification according to their needs,” says Simon Osborne, Chief Executive at ICSA. “Increased flexibility means that they offer even greater choice to students and employers.”
“Our new qualifications are recognised by the financial regulators in Jersey and local employers have also verified that these qualifications will provide the knowledge needed for a successful career in the offshore financial services sector,” adds Robert Le Corre, Chairman of ICSA Jersey. “The qualifications are ideal for employees new to the offshore financial services industry undertaking junior roles or those who have been working in the industry for some time without a recognised qualification. There are no formal entry requirements and you do not need to have a degree, although it is helpful to be working in a relevant occupation.”
Guests will be welcomed as of 6pm with the presentation starting at 6.30pm. The event is free to attend and light refreshments will be served. Places can be booked online here or via the ICSA website https://www.icsa.org.uk/events/other-networking-events/introducing-ifa-to-jersey.
