Job title: Marketing Communications Executive

Reports to: Marketing Campaigns Manager
You will be responsible the day-to-day running of our social media channels and for creating and setting up the testing and analysis of all marketing emails, as well as using email and social media to maximise revenue opportunities and the growth and retention of students, members and non-members. You will have direct influence on the email-marketing calendar and development of the email channel.
This role requires a proactive, deadline driven, multi-tasker, with a creative mind and a can-do attitude. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as a flexible approach to work, are essential for success in this role.
Daily management of the design, build and send of effective customer/member facing email communications as well as creating and proof-reading content.
Analysing email performance, customer/member engagement levels and conversion rates.
Managing email campaigns throughout the customer/member lifecycle to maximise sales of our qualifications, training and events portfolio.
Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry.
Write interesting and engaging copy across our social media platforms, that evokes conversation and supports the strategic commercial goals.
Use data to make decisions on what kind of content our audiences find engaging and engage with incoming communications in a professional and informed manner.
Work closely with the key stakeholders to create campaigns to increase sales, drive recruitment and retention of our members and non-members.
Supporting the Head of Marketing in delivering the strategy for the channels.
Understanding of the analysis of email marketing campaigns and development of recommendations for improvement.
Create and test new email marketing templates and direct marketing communications in Maxemail and support our transition to Dotdigital.
Create quality content and proofread any copy that needs reviewing.
Work with the design team to develop the assets required to support your social and email communications.
Tracking and reporting on email campaigns to guide improvement.
Supporting the wider Marketing team in delivering channel-holistic results.
