Sharon Constançon FCIS

Sharon is participating in afternoon panel How to identify toxic behaviour in the boardroom at 14.50 on Day Two.

Sharon is the CEO of Genius Methods - a company that offers tailored robust, behaviour focused board evaluation services to many industries, listed entities and regulated businesses including FTSE, SME, Family, Investment Trusts, Insurance, Financial Services, Regulated, Health Services, Charities and the Housing Sector. She has a well attested reputation for providing confidential, straightforward, honest and effective Board Evaluations which have very successfully enabled Boards to improve performance.

Sharon has extensive experience in director mentoring and is regularly invited to address industry audiences, run workshops and chair round-table debates or panels. She has stories of her own and those from her role as Board Evaluator which she successfully uses to help others learn and understand the role of the Board and of being a NED.

She is a Chartered Director, Chartered Secretary and has an MBA. She is Chairman of the South African Chamber of Commerce, Non Executive Director for Transact SA, International Committee member for CISI and Membership Committee Member for WCCSA and CEO of Valufin, a forex advisory firm. Previous roles include NED and Chairman of Conduct and Culture Committee for Buckinghamshire Building Society.

Sharon was awarded the SACC Business Woman in Business Award of the Year in 2013 and in 2015 she was a finalist for the prestigious IoD ‘Rd. Neville Bain Memorial Award’.
