Company Secretary of the Year

Open to those in a senior company secretarial role who demonstrates effective team and thought leadership and shows mastery of the complex legal and regulatory environment. The judges will be looking for a nominee who plays an added-value role in the governance of their organisation and undertakes initiatives that have contributed to emerging best practice in the pursuit of good governance.

Who are you nominating?

Why do you think the nominee should win this award?

  • You may want to include examples where the nominee has led their team through a challenging period and/or delivered results beyond the expectations of their role.
  • Please describe the nominee’s relationship with the board and how they add value.
  • You are encouraged to provide testimonials to back up your points (up to three, of no more than 50 words each).
  • Explain how the nominee has not only fulfilled their regulatory obligations, but also used their skills and initiative to add value to the organisation.
  • Include specific examples where the candidate has been instrumental in making a positive material difference to the operation of the organisation.
  • You may want to tell us about the personal attributes of the candidate and how they are regarded within their organisation.
  • Has the candidate influenced and shaped the wider profession in any way?
