Award Categories


This award is open to company secretarial and governance teams of all sizes. Nominees will have demonstrated excellent collaboration in the creative and effective ways they discharge their responsibilities. The judges will be looking for evidence of an outstanding performance this year in the face of a variety of atypical challenges over and above your normal daily work.

Your entry for this award should cover:

  • How the team has demonstrated excellent, creative teamwork in improving the management of their more routine tasks and duties;
  • How the team met and overcame the challenges of dealing with more exceptional circumstances, projects or transactions;
  • When and how the team has developed an innovative solution that has contributed to best practice within the organisation; and
  • Any additional reasons why you feel they should win the Team of the Year award.

Who are you nominating?

Why do you think this team should win this award?

  • Include information about the size of the team, how it is structured, its roles and responsibilities, and some background information on the company.
  • Include examples of how the team has collectively driven departmental efficiencies or has significantly exceeded expectations from what would normally be required from a company secretarial or governance team.
  • Please include as many examples as you can. These could include issues such as corporate action, company constitutional reform, corporate restructuring, board issues or governance improvements.
  • Clearly outline the problem as it was, the solution proposed, how the project was implemented and what benefits the new process has delivered. You can use more than one example.
