Gender pay gap reporting is an invaluable tool for employers in understanding where and why there may be pay disparities between men and women in the workforce, and in identifying appropriate action.

This award recognises high quality disclosure on gender pay. Strong reports in this category will explain clearly and concisely whether the business has a gender-related gap in their pay and, if there is a problem, the underlying causes. They will provide clear insight into what has been done to address the problem, including describing any targets that were set to address pay disparities and why those targets were felt to be appropriate, the action plan that underpins them and the timeline for improvement.

The judges in this category are particularly interested in those reports which demonstrate an understanding of where changes need to be made when it comes to gender and pay, and can demonstrate real progress in addressing the issue.
