Jenny McGowran

Jenny is the Head of the Simmons & Simmons Corporate Services team in Dublin.  Specialising in providing company secretarial services and best practice corporate governance advices, she has in-depth knowledge across a number of different sectors encompassing investment funds, management companies and corporate vehicles.

Specialising in dealing with asset management entities including UCITS management companies and AIFMs, and those that have been established as “Super ManCo” vehicles, Jenny has specific expertise with and their corresponding committees including audit, risk, investment and remuneration.  Jenny also has in-depth experience dealing directly with the Central Bank – she has attended and minuted a number of Director PRISM interviews, and prepared Board minutes on the basis of these being submitted to the Central Bank for specific discussion points.

Jenny has completed the Certified Investment Fund Director programme and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators – The Chartered Governance Institute.  Jenny holds a Masters in International Business and a Degree in Management and Marketing from the Technological University of Dublin.  Jenny is also a member of the CRO Stakeholder Forum and a Chartered Governance Institute committee member.
