A fantastic opportunity to kick-start your CoSec career with a leading independent provider that deals with high-calibre clients. The business will provide long-term career development – following completion of the programme, you may continue as part of their team; making this position the perfect first-time role. Joining the close-knit and friendly team, you will provide company secretarial advice and services to clients, draft company secretarial documents and advise clients on compliance with company law and regulation. The role doesn’t require for any previous CoSec experience, but the ideal candidate will have at least a 2:1 degree, with a ‘can do’ attitude to excel in gaining strong technical skills – and an interest in pursuing a CoSec career!

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide company secretarial advice and services to clients whilst building and maintain relationships with a specific portfolio of clients
  • Advise clients on compliance with company law and regulation
  • Give an efficient company incorporation service to the company’s law firm clients
  • Help with ad hoc projects for clients when requires. For example, compliance reviews/audits and corporate transactions.
  • Work on administrative aspects of client service delivery and maintenance of clients’ corporate legal records.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1)
  • Solid IT skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Attitudes and Behaviours

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interest in the company secretarial profession.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload.
