plc Deputy Company Secretary- 99% HOME WORKING

DMJ have been appointed to support a newly listed Energy & Technology group in their search for their first Deputy Company Secretary.

This business is in the green energy sector and following their recent IPO have decided that the first area of the business that they should invest in is internal governance. With the full backing of the board and executive this role is the first hire aside from their General Counsel into the legal and compliance function.

This is not your a-typical plc governance role as they are in a position to offer 99.9% home working should a candidate wish to do this and their business M.O is more ‘travel if you HAVE too’. This role will play a key role in helping advise and work with the board on all plc governance matters and have the opportunity to shape the legal and governance function with the General Counsel.

A passion for governance and saving the environment is a must for this position.
