Group Partnership Secretary

Our client, an industry leading intellectual property specialist firm is seeking a its first Group Partnership Secretary to meet the needs of the Group as it expands in size and complexity. You will be accountable for a wide range of administrative and compliance duties, keeping current with any regulatory changes and actioning appropriately, as well as take part in project-related work and looking after the Management Committee. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a company secretarial role within the professional services sector. Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Support, prepare agendas and attend meetings as necessary
  • Draft and prepare minutes and action any points made from resolutions
  • Strategically develop the group corporate policies, such as anti-bribery
  • Drive the renewals processes amongst other insurance policies liaising with the relevant department
  • Help develop the groups corporate structure
  • Contract management including client terms of engagement
  • Ensure the various professionals within the firm are in line with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the Customer Due Diligence team and processes including act as deputy Money Laundering Reports Officer  

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience working within a company secretarial function in a professional services setting
  • Degree educated, preferably in Law
  • A proficiency in French is highly advantageous
