Senior Company Secretarial Assistant

A high-profile law firm is seeking a Senior Company Secretarial Assistant to join its small team. This client facing role will be responsible for a range of UK subsidiary work, including advising on corporate governance matters and supporting company secretarial transactions. The role offers a great opportunity to get involved with a very active and growing client base, in a hands-on and fast paced working environment.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on corporate governance matters and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Drafting minutes and resolutions
  • Filing statutory forms and confirmation statements
  • Maintaining statutory books and company registers
  • Liaising with Companies House
  • Assisting with ad-hoc project work

Experience and Qualifications:

  • ICSA qualification highly advantageous
  • Previous company secretarial experience within a law firm or professional services firm
  • Experience using Diligent Entities

Personal Qualities and Behaviours:

  • Able to prioritise tasks and handle an interchangeable workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Focused, confident and able to hit the ground running
