Company Secretarial Manager

Our client is a high profile international business with a company secretarial team of c.18 individuals. They recently took on a listed business and as most of the team has more experience in private limited companies rather than plcs, they are looking for someone with experience with listed companies to join the team to help grow this part of the business.

A full job description is available. The key requirement is to have at least a couple of years in listed companies and to be comfortable with the board support/governance aspects (being used to interaction with NEDs, shareholders, registrar, familiar with audit committees, AGM, code of conduct, annual report etc.) and the various announcements to be made with the stock exchange.

Any previous experience gained in a professional services environment would be great, and candidates with an in-house background would also be welcomed. This is a well-resourced team that has grown quickly, it is a friendly place to work, with a very good reputation in various international jurisdictions and getting more well known in London. The head office is based in London EC4, and they still anticipate being able to offer a semi-remote working arrangement going forward.
