Member Development Manager

Initial term: 2 years FTC in the first instance (secondments considered)
Salary: £52,000 – £54,500 + generous benefits
Location: London (Westminster) with some home working

NHS Providers is the membership organisation for the NHS hospital, mental health, community and ambulance services that treat patients and service users in the NHS. We help those NHS trusts and foundation trusts to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care by enabling them to learn from each other, acting as their public voice and helping shape the system in which they operate. NHS Providers has all trusts in voluntary membership, collectively accounting for £92bn of annual expenditure and employing more than one million staff.

This is a new post and an exciting opportunity for any manager with senior level experience interested in furthering their career working with NHS boards. You would be working with our Head of Development and Engagement and alongside our team of four member development managers on a portfolio of engagement activities for our members. The portfolio will be varied and partly dependant on the postholder’s experience but is likely to include elements of healthcare governance, programme development, development and delivery of training programmes for board level members, etc.
