Interim Assistant Company Secretary

Our client, a household name, is seeking an Interim Assistant Company Secretary for a 3-6 month period to assist during a busy time. This role will work alongside the Company Secretary to ensure statutory compliance and provide support to the Board. If you have a strong understanding of listing rules and regulations, have a hands-on approach and are confident speaking to people at all levels of seniority, the this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the AMG and in the preparation of the governance section of the Annual Report.
  • Support the Company Secretary with Annual Report and Accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of stock exchange announcements
  • Support on corporate transactions
  • Administration of the corporate calendar, including the AGM
  • Ensure the company is compliant with listing rules and regulations
  • Compile and circulate Board and Committee packs

Experience and Qualifications

  • Ideally ICSA full/part qualified
  • Listed experience within a FTSE 350 environment
  • Experience using Diligent Boards (or similar)

Personal Qualities and Behaviours

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to work well within a small team
  • Confident liaising across all levels of seniority
