One of the the biggest names operating within the company registration and administration field seeks to onboard a Company Secretarial Assistant.
You will sit as part of the International and Technical Department, reporting directly to the department’s Manager. Ideally the successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ company secretarial experience, allied with good interpersonal and communication skills.
The Workload
The International and Technical Department:
• Deals with the company secretarial records of approximately 2,600 companies (using the company secretarial software package, Blueprint);
• Provides an “Annual Compliance” service for our many clients;
• Provides ad hoc advice on company secretarial matters to clients;
• Provides specialist company secretarial advice and assistance to lawyers, accountants and fiduciaries;
Duties
The Administrator will be required to:
• Be involved in the annual statutory maintenance of a portfolio of UK and offshore companies;
• Provide ad hoc assistance and advice to clients and subsequent drafting on special projects, for example updating subsidiary company articles, carrying out group re-organisations, share exchanges, purchases of own shares, removal of a director, changes to articles, share buy- backs, reduction of share capital and re-registration;
• Deal with telephone enquiries on routine matters and new enquiries;
• Assist with incorporations and maintenance of offshore companies;
• Due diligence compliance, including checking and monitoring clients;
• Arrange for documents to be Notarised and Apostilled
Qualifications/Experience
The candidate should ideally be:
• Qualified ACIS or nearly qualified with at least three years’ experience in the Company Secretarial service industry;
• Advanced user of the ICSA Software package, Blueprint
Skills/Qualities
The candidate should be:
• An excellent communicator - there will be plenty of direct client liaison;
• A good prioritiser, able to manage their own workload;
• Resourceful;
• Committed to working in a professional environment.
