Board Support Manager

Our client is an internationally renowned organisation. They seek to recruit a Board Support Manager to provide support to the Company Secretary’s office and to provide professional, efficient and high quality input/support with particular reference to supporting the meetings calendar, Trustees and Executive Board. Also to provide support to the Company Secretary with developing and improving the governance frameworks/ systems.

This is a pivotal role in the newly integrated governance model and integral in building and maintaining a governance framework.
 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in a company secretarial role
  • Experience of board support for top level board and committees

Knowledge

  • Corporate governance, company law

Skills

  • Strong relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders, up to and including at a senior level
  • Excellent communication; verbal and written including report/advice note writing
  • Able to demonstrate a professional approach at all times whilst under pressure
  • Minute taking
  • Exacting attention to detail

Qualifications

  • ICSA qualified or part qualified
