Job description follows;

Senior Corporate Secretary

A new Senior Corporate Secretary is required for a small Corporate Secretarial team based in Monaco. The role reports directly into the Company Secretary and covers corporate secretarial and compliance workflows across a diverse, large multinational group which has had a presence in Monaco since the 1970s. The Corporate Secretarial team comprises three people (including the successful candidate). Team members work interchangeably over one single line of communication to ensure the group receives uninterrupted service during working hours. The team requires the addition of a qualified and experienced member who is comfortable liaising with colleagues around the group at all levels, who can provide assistance and guidance to less qualified team members when required and can handle complex projects from beginning to end. The group is not overly hierarchical, so the candidate and their work will be very visible at all levels across the group.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work through open communication channels as described, must be a self starter, must be able to collaborate closely with the two other team members on any and all workflows, whilst providing guidance in areas where needed.

The role is broad, varied and not overly structured. This role would suit someone who is versatile and can adapt to a changeable workload, whilst being able to work within internal governance frameworks. Given the small size of the team, the character fit will be as important as the technical skills. The team is not structured hierarchically so the role itself will not have reportees, but the candidate must be able to lead when required.

The team continues to evolve in the face of changing legislation and diversifying business interests. The candidate must be comfortable with change and to be able to drive process development to improve the effectiveness of our Corporate Services.
