Governance Manager - 9-month FTC

Ladwa Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected charitable organisation to hire a Governance Manager for a 9-month FTC. They are seeking a professional to design and implement a good governance framework and perform company secretarial functions across the Trust and its subsidiaries. The job is REMOTE and starting as soon as possible.

Day to day responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting Legal & Governance Director in designing a good governance framework for the Trust that is fit for purpose.
  • Day-to-day lead responsibility for implementation of the Trust’s governance framework and coordination of governance stakeholders
  • Management, organisation and attendance at Board (including Board Committees), Council and Executive meetings, deputising for the Legal & Governance Director where necessary
  • Organisation and delivery of other stakeholder events, such as the Annual Public Meeting
  • Responsibility for governance section of Trust Annual Report & Accounts
  • Organise Council membership (including elections and nominations) and ongoing engagement
  • Deliver efficient company secretarial and governance service for the Trust’s group, including its subsidiary companies


You’ll need to be highly organised and have experience in similar role. Equally important is your ability to build and maintain positive relationships, ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority and a willingness to get stuck into a busy role in a busy organisation.
