Company Secretary

The Group Company Secretary is responsible for leading the Group Company Secretariat and ensuring sound and effective corporate governance throughout the Group.  The Group Company Secretary supports the Main Board, acting as liaison and governance counsel to the Non-executive Directors and the Chair. The role-holder will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Market Abuse Regulations, listing rules and the UK Corporate Governance Code (the “Code”) and other governance best practice and/or advising the Main Board if departure from the Code is appropriate.

A key responsibility is managing a team of fully and partly qualified governance professionals as they support corporate governance and statutory compliance for UK and Jersey subsidiaries (including FCA regulated entities) and other operating and holding companies within the EMEA Region.
