Governance Support Officer - Higher Education

A well-regarded Higher Education institution are now looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic Governance Support Officer to support the governance functions of the university. This will be a wide ranging role within a brand new function for the organisation. I have included a full, detailed job description below which includes more on the remit of the role. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and administrator, who is able to plan proactively, yet can be adaptable and think on their feet as/when needed. In this role, you will need to be able to listen to, understand, synthesise and record complex and technical discussions around finance, audit, academic and corporate governance themes.

Organisation are operating a hybrid working arrangement with some days to be based on their Kent campus; there is some flexibility to this however.
