Senior Assistant Company Secretary – Asset Management

Our client, an innovative asset management company with a focus on sustainability, is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join their fast-paced team. You will report to the Head of Legal to assist them in managing a varied workload including the management of a number of Boards, ensure statutory compliance and work on corporate actions, while also gaining exposure to all aspects of the Company’s lifecycle. If you are a Chartered Secretary with previous experience in professional services and/or in a fund/investment firm, then do get in touch!

 

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Annual Report and accounts;
  • Statutory compliance and  Share transaction work;
  • Drafting board meeting agendas;
  • Advising the boards on corporate governance matters;
  • Looking of ways to simplify structure and improve efficiency of transactions; and
  • Train and support junior members in the team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting in corporate transaction work such as M&A’s and group restructures;
  • Excellent minute taking skills; and
  • Technology proficient.
