The National Cyber Security Centre recently reported an increase in the number of cybersecurity breaches occurring during the COVID-19 crisis.
The highly sophisticated cyber-attacks on easyJet and Honda are just two recent illustrations. The frequency of cyber-breaches, together with the difficulties of recovering from them, highlights the need for businesses to prioritise this threat on their board agendas. By creating well thought through crisis management plans, organisations of whatever sector can ensure that they can respond quickly and effectively in the event of a breach, and thereby minimise the impact to their business operations and further exposure to risk.
