Financial reporting lab survey

The Financial Reporting Lab is a unit within the Financial Reporting Council which provides an environment where investors and companies can come together to develop pragmatic solutions to today’s reporting needs. Among its purposes are testing new reporting formats with companies and investors, and gathering and sharing evidence from the market to support innovation in reporting.

In order that the Lab can better understand which areas of corporate reporting companies want to improve, we have been asked to invite members working in public companies to complete a short anonymous questionnaire (which the Lab has estimated will take no more than five minutes to complete) to help inform their decision-making on which projects to progress.

This is an opportunity to steer thinking and it is important that company secretaries make our voices heard where possible. If you are able to do so, please follow the link to https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/labsurvey7/ and let them have your views. The Lab director and his team regularly give feedback on their work through Governance and Compliance magazine and have agreed to share the results of the survey with us all in due course.
