Sonja Antell, Director, Action Learning Associates
An independent organisational and management development consultant with over 25 years experience, Sonja is a Director with Action Learning Associates. Sonja works with individuals, teams and organisations to improve performance and drive forward business goals using coaching, action learning, facilitation as well as designing larger scale OD programmes.
Originally qualified as a social worker using family therapy in child protection, Sonja has an MBA specialising in OD, has worked with Cap Gemini and now has considerable experience working independently in a diverse range of sectors including blue chip companies, public and not for profit sectors.
An experienced action learning facilitator Sonja designs programmes to support participants and organisations through change. She is approved by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) to deliver accredited action learning facilitator training and has worked in a range of organisations to train facilitators. The training programmes have supported a range of organisational imperatives including mergers, business transition work and cultural change.
Sonja has worked with Heineken International to support its global roll-out of continuous learning groups, where a key principle is flexibility for the local market. She co-designed and delivered the pilot for a Master Coach training programme enabling local internal delivery in native languages of ALA’s action learning facilitator training programme.
