We’re looking for a Share Plan Specialist to join our Executive Reward team to deliver our Global Share plan activity across 70 countries and 22,000 employees. 

The Share Plan Specialist will support the Share Plan Manager to deliver Haleon’s Global Share Plan strategy. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a new Global Share Plan team dedicated to transforming employee share ownership at Haleon.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Management of the end-to-end process and compliance for the executive share plans (Performance Share Plan and Share Value Plan) and the UK Sharesave plan.
  • Oversee the operation and compliance of international all-employee share plans.
  • Support the Share Plan Manager to create and deliver clear and compelling communications materials to drive engagement with share plans across Haleon.
  • Continuous process improvement, including through use of technology and automation.
  • Serve as primary liaison and manage the relationship with our third-party share plan administration providers to ensure timely and accurate administration of the share plans, including share plan grants, vests, maturities and dividends. Ensure all service level agreements are met.
  • Managing relationships with external providers relating to share plans including tax and legal advisors and employee benefit trusts. 
  • Managing international legal and tax due diligence and compliance, overseeing regulatory filings and ensuring timely submissions by local teams. 
  • Working collaboratively with key internal partners in Company Secretariat, Finance, Payroll, Communications, Legal and Tax functions to ensure requirements are defined and delivered.
  • Preparing equity reports for management including for the Finance team and the Remuneration Committee. 
  • Effectively manage the share plan budget by reviewing, querying and approving invoices from third-party vendors, working with finance to manage payment requests.
  • Working with Company Secretariat colleagues to ensure timely RNS announcements are made in relation to PDMR grants, vests, maturities etc, and share plans are correctly recorded in the equity system.
  • Assist the third-party share plans administration providers to respond to employee queries, dealing with any escalations as necessary. Manage the internal share plans inbox. 
  • Support the Share Plan Manager in various share plans-related projects. 

Attributes required:

  • Strong knowledge of executive and all-Employee plans in international listed companies. 
  • Passion for process improvement, automation and simplification.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Project management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel is required. Proficiency with other data management tools (such as Alteryx) would be beneficial. 
  • A team player comfortable managing internal and external relationships, but also able to work independently and effectively.
  • ICSA Share Plans qualification preferred.
  • Hybrid working model - remote and in office.
