We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded insurance firm seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Company Secretary to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in corporate governance within a leading organization.


Your Role
As an Assistant Company Secretary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring corporate governance excellence and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
•    Assisting with advising on best corporate governance practice and adherence to the relevant UK Corporate Governance and internal governance framework.
•    Assisting with drafting statutory Governance reporting.
•    Provide support to the various Boards and committees, involving the drafting of agendas, collating and circulating papers via Diligent, and preparing minutes and actions / matters arising.
•    Assisting the Deputy Company Secretary with the management of External and Internal Board Effectiveness evaluations, including the reporting and actions arising therefrom
•    Responsible for minuting meetings as and when required, ensuring that they an accurate reflection of the meeting and produced in a timely manner.


What We’re Looking For
•    UK Company Secretarial Experience, ideally within Financial Services 
•    Looking to complete the CGI qualification
•    Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
•    Excellent communication and organizational skills
•    Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
