One of my favourite clients has a lovely role to fill, and the good news is, the department has never been in better shape. My client is a very successful property company. The business is very dynamic and fast-moving. The current incumbent has done an amazing job of understanding the business needs and working with key stakeholders to streamline processes.
So do you back yourself to further improve this department? Here are some questions to consider before you apply;
Are you confident in your ability and knowledge to advise and influence key stakeholders?
Do you have a robust knowledge of KYC, AML and compliance?
Have you any exposure to company secretarial work?Can you navigate your way around HMRC, FCA and Counter-terrorist legislation and initiatives?
Previous experience in a property business is desirable but not essential. Company Secretarial or Compliance qualifications are also "nice to have". What is essential is that you have a proactive attitude and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
