Interim Senior Governance Manager
About the Role
I have been exclusively instructed by a FTSE 250 listed financial services organisation who are seeking an Interim Senior Governance Manager on a 6 month basis, looking to start at short notice. This role is central to the function and will provide a broad range of support.
You will provide key support on plc governance, committee governance and subsidiary governance. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at every level.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as Secretary to Executive Management and Board Committees
- Advise senior leaders and the Board on governance best practice, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
- Take co-lead on AGM preparation.
- Provide guidance on the annual report including drafting sections.
- Provide support to the subsidiary governance framework including acting as Secretary to regulated and significant legal entities.
About You
You will be an experienced governance professional with a strong background in corporate governance. You will bring:
- At least 5 years previous experience working in a Company Secretariat or governance department.
- Experience working within a listed organisation. Regulated experience is desirable but not necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
