Your new role
The successful candidate will join the London office as an Assistant Company Secretary in a full-time capacity. This position offers significant client contact at board level and with senior stakeholders, requiring close collaboration with the team to deliver the highest standards of governance and client service. Responsibilities include arranging client and shareholder meetings, preparing and distributing board packs, liaising with directors, brokers, investment advisors, and shareholders, and drafting minutes for board and shareholder meetings. The role also involves making statutory filings and regulatory announcements, maintaining statutory records, ensuring compliance with Articles of Association, managing corporate reporting schedules, and assisting with the production of annual and interim financial reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, the candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in Company Secretarial and a desire to develop further. You should be working towards a CGI qualification and have relevant company secretarial experience. A good understanding of company secretarial aspects for listed companies, familiarity with regulations such as DTR, Listing Rules, and MAR, and basic knowledge of London Stock Exchange listing rules will be advantageous. Excellent organisational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Board Intelligence, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
