SecRep Limited

SecRep Limited is one of only two FCA authorised Securitisation Repositories in the UK. Our sister company, SecRep B.V. is likewise one of only two authorised by ESMA in the EU. We build and run the IT systems which enable our customers to meet their reporting obligations under the Securitisation Regulation. The first Securitisation Repositories were approved and went live in July 2021 in the EU and January 2022 in the UK, so both businesses are young and growing.

Although the companies are new, our small, dedicated team of financial services and IT professionals is a mixture of new staff and people who have worked together for nearly 20 years. We started to build the SecRep businesses in 2018 as a project within another company, later spinning them off as independent start-ups headed by senior staff from the old company.

Our office premises are in Kent, but remote working is our old normal – we were doing it long before the pandemic and we’re glad to see that the world is catching up. The UK staff work closely with the EU management team in the Netherlands to support the activities of both companies.
