£100,00-120,000, London (Hybrid, 2 days in Office 3 WFH)

We’ve been instructed by a global professional firm with market-leading businesses in areas such as risk, strategy, and people. This global business is looking for a Company Secretary to join their team, in London, on a 12-month FTC to provide governance advisory services to their companies in the UK in addition to statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will need to work independently, be an exceptional minute taker, and be experienced in supporting a business with transactions. The business is flexible with their working from home policy and you will be working in a great team that is highly respected in the business. Although the maternity leave begins imminently, and a preference is to find someone who can start soon, they have indicated they can wait for the right person to start. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Taking a lead on Board and Committees meetings
  • Supporting the team alongside tax and legal departments on project work including liquidations, cash repatriations, capital restructuring and capital reorganisations.
  • Manage legal entities on Diligent Entities
  • Maintaining statutory records and compliance with Companies House

Experience and Qualifications

  • Ideally CGI qualified
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills  
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on developing yourself and others
  • Exceptional knowledge of UK company law
