Company Secretary - IPO role

This exceptionally well-performing FinTech firm is now seeking to appoint a new Company on a full time, permanent basis. With exciting plans to launch an initial public offering in 2025, they now seek the advice and guidance of a Chartered Secretary with strong listed company experience.
You'll be joining a small, growing team consisting of the General Counsel (who you report to), a Deputy Company Secretary and Company Secretarial Assistant. The focal point of this role will be to aide in the transition from a private to a publicly listed company and continuing in post, post listing.
As such, you'll need to demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK Corporate Governance Code and all its relevant provisions. You'll also need to be comfortable in a leadership role working with the General Counsel and Board members in advising at the highest level. Prior experience of supporting a company through an IPO would of course be advantageous but is not a specific requirement of this role. You must have strong listed company experience though, alongside experience drawn from a financial services (or FinTech) environment.
You'll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic company with impressive growth plans at an incredibly exciting junction. Those operating at Deputy Company Secretary level, Head of Secretariat or Company Secretary level would be welcome to apply. A full and detailed job description is available on request.
