Interim Governance Manager

DMJ are thrilled to be partnering a fantastic Not-For-Profit organisation based in Lancashire who are looking for a senior governance professional to join them on a 3-month fixed term contract (which may be extended to 6-months).

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Providing end-to-end secretariat support, including developing agendas and papers; overseeing the papers-out process; attending and taking minutes of governance meetings; and overseeing completion of actions
  • Governance meeting management including supervising the arrangements for venues, and Board and Committee member travel
  • Manage the delivery of the AGMs
  • Overseeing compliance with statutory filings at Companies House and maintenance of statutory books
  • Managing the Board and Committee records, including the annual work-plans/forward planners
  • Providing effective leadership and supporting on the delivery of ad hoc projects as required

The ideal candidate will be a confident decision maker and will be part or fully CGI qualified.
