Our successful and growing advisory firm client seeks to appoint more than one Manager and/or Senior Manager to join its friendly and collegiate team. Sitting within the high performing board governance sub-team, you will be responsible for delivering an extensive range of corporate secretarial and board support services to a diverse range of businesses, including FCA regulated banking clients and companies on their path to IPO. It is an exciting time to join, as the firm look to build out their strategic advisory service offering, including board evaluation work, director induction and training and governance framework reviews. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide a full suite of outsourced company secretarial services to a range of clientele on all end-to-end company secretarial, governance and compliance matters.
  • Provide meeting support to a range of group companies and boards/committees, including dissemination of board packs, distribution, attendance, minuting and coordination of post meeting actions 
  • Prepare, review or update key governance documents and undertaking any statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies, as well as provide support and guidance on procedural and governance matters at meetings.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience of attending, supporting, and minuting Board/Committee meetings 
  • CGI (formerly ICSA) part or fully qualified (or other professional qualification if relevant experience can be demonstrated)
  • Previous company secretarial experience, open on sector, including not-for-profit

  • Strong organisational skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
  • A team player, who can work effectively and collaboratively with others, while also able to work independently
