Interim Head of Governance - Registered Charity & Housing Provider [Remote]

This registered charity and housing provider plays a vital role in supporting young, vulnerable people and and communities situated across Greater London and further afield. They are now seeking the support of an experienced governance professional on an interim basis, someone who is ideally available to start in May 2024. This will allow for a short but important handover period with the current post holder. 
The role will be offered as a six month fixed term contract with a competitive salary and benefits package on offer. The role offers great flexibility for home/remote working, being almost entirely home based should this be preferred. However, there would be the very occasional requirement to be present for a physical Board meeting (usually London or SE location) but the majority of meetings are held online. 
This role would ideally suit someone who can draw on their experience of working within a registered charity as well as ideally working knowledge and experience of supporting housing associations. Familiarity with their legal, governance and regulatory obligations will be very important. As this is considered a leadership role within the organisation, you must demonstrate the required soft skills required to operate successfully at Board level.
