A dynamic, FTSE-listed investment manager based in London is seeking a Senior Company Secretarial Manager to join its team, in this newly-created position. The successful candidate, will play a pivotal role in ensuring company compliance and administration across its Group’s and managed funds’ subsidiaries, collaborate closely with the cosec team to uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, as well as oversee the work of and upskill junior members of the team. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and annual audit of all statutory records and company filings.
- Update and manage departmental templates, precedents, and processes.
- Implement a subsidiary governance framework across Foresight managed funds.
- Provide advice and guidance on UK corporate governance best practices.
- Oversee, train, and support junior colleagues to foster their career development.
Experience and Qualifications
- People management experience would be ideal, but is not essential.
- Proficient in technology and digital applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Office 365, board pack software (e.g., Board Intelligence), and entity management software (e.g., Diligent).
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2006, UK Corporate Governance Code, and Companies House filing requirements.
