Company Secretarial Assistant

A fantastic opportunity to develop and broaden your company secretarial skills has emerged within an established and well-known insurance group. The role as Company Secretarial Assistant, which will see you working closely with the Group Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary, will involve providing secretarial service to the Group’s Board and Committees, including drafting of agendas and minute-taking, as well as group project work and the opportunity to get involved in shareholder and share capital-related matters. If you have previous company secretarial experience, ideally within Financial Services or an insurance provider, and are keen to grow your skillset, then please do get in touch.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the arrangement of Board and Committee meetings, including the production of agendas, minutes and matters arising
  • Upload and issue papers using Diligent Boards
  • Management of information, KYC and powers of attorney for the Group-level Boards and Committees
  • Give support to the Assistant Company Secretary, relating to Group-level finance structure entities including local filings
  • Management and update of the Company Secretariat team structure

Experience and Qualifications:

  • ICSA qualified/part-qualified preferred
  • Previous Governance/Company Secretarial experience, preferably within either the insurance industry or financial services
  • Strong minute-taking experience
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft software and Diligent Entities (or equivalent)

  • Able to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
