We are working exclusively on an incredibly exciting Governance Officer position within a government-owned private company, specialising in the healthcare industry. The role holder will be involved in a wide remit of governance duties and support the Governance Manager with servicing the organisation’s committees. A huge benefit is that the role will be predominantly remote, with only ad-hoc travel to their offices in Leeds, London or Manchester. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting the organisation’s Committees and working closely alongside the Governance Manager
- Assisting with the preparation of the Annual General Meeting
- Providing governance advice to senior stakeholders including Executive team, Board and Committee members
- Drafting governance related documents
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a governance setting
- CGI qualified or part-qualified (desirable)
- Demonstrable experience providing support to Boards and Committees including preparing agendas, reviewing papers, preparing minutes etc
Attitudes and Behaviours
- Possess strong communication skills and able to build effective working relationships
- Excellent attention to detail
- Collaborative attitude and team player
