Assistant Company Secretary – Listed
£Market Rate, London/Hybrid
We are pleased to be working with a listed manufacturing organisation, who are looking to appoint an Assistant Company Secretary into their close knit team. Reporting directly into the general counsel, the role holder will have full exposure to listed company secretarial responsibilities, along with managing global entities whilst maintaining solid corporate governance practices. Doing 2 to 3 days a week in their central London office. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Plc responsibilities including RNS announcements, managing Insider Lists, Annual Report and AGM preparation
- Working closely with other departments within the group to promote effective governance
- Employee share schemes management
- Plc Board and Committee support, plus organisation of annual meeting calendar
- Subsidiary management
Experience and Qualifications
- CGI qualified (desirable)
- Demonstrable knowledge of UK Corporate Governance Code and UK Listing Rules
- Previous experience within a FTSE 250
Attitudes and Behaviours
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with different stakeholders and varying levels
- Able to maintain focussed under pressure
- Forward thinking and able to take own initiative
