The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their high-performing company secretarial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is looking to develop their company secretarial career within a fast-paced, global environment.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s corporate governance services to their clients. Whether you're early in your career or looking to build on your experience, this role offers structured development, clear progression, and exposure to a broad range of corporate governance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corresponding with clients and other agencies to maintain and update clients’ statutory books and registers using Diligent Entities and the firm’s document management system.
  • Advising clients on relevant provisions of the Companies Act 2006, with the support of senior members of the team.
  • Preparing and filing statutory forms with Companies House.
  • Drafting minutes and resolutions relating to corporate changes including (but not limited to) change of officers; allotment or transfer of shares; change of name; change of registered office; change of accounting year end.
  • Assisting in company formation and dissolution.
  • Assisting with adhoc advisory projects, such as capital reductions; share buy-backs; share reorganisations.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a company secretarial or governance support role
  • Strong understanding of UK company law and corporate governance principles
  • Ideally working towards or holding part-ICSA/CGI qualification (support for qualification offered)
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience in a professional services or legal environment is desirable but not essential
