We’re working in partnership with a prominent organisation to support the continued growth of their high-performing Governance team. You will play a key role in supporting Board-level governance, driving best practice across the business and providing strategic-level advisory work. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-profile role, working closely with senior executives and Board members and making a meaningful impact on governance strategy and execution. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing expert governance support to the Board, its committees, and senior leadership
  • Advising on regulatory requirements, including Listing Rules, DTRs, MAR, and the UK Corporate Governance Code
  • Contributing to major deliverables such as the Annual Report 
  • Collaborating across the wider group to promote strong, effective governance practices

Experience and Qualifications

  • A relevant professional qualification (Chartered Secretary, Lawyer, etc.) or substantial equivalent experience, preferably within Financial Services
  • Significant expertise in corporate governance within a listed or regulated environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Companies Act 2006, PRA/FCA governance standards, and corporate reporting

Attitudes and Behaviours

  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and confidence in advising at the most senior levels
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
