Company Secretarial Assistant
Location: London (flexible hybrid working) | Salary: Up to £45,000

Briefed Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting a major UK Charity in their search for a Company Secretarial Assistant to support their governance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, respected Company Secretariat team and play a key role in delivering effective governance at one of the UK’s leading charities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretariat support to Board and Committee meetings – including minuting, logistics, briefings, and liaison with senior stakeholders.

  • Ensure timely and accurate minute-taking that captures key decisions and actions.

  • Maintain governance processes and statutory records in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to key projects (including the annual report), policy development, and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong minuting skills and significant experience supporting Boards and Committees.

  • Proven understanding of governance, compliance, and charity regulation.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ideally CGI UK (ICSA) qualified or working towards qualification.

This role is offering flexible hybrid working arrangements, with an office requirement of 1-2 days per week.
