This Company Secretarial Assistant position offers broad exposure across statutory compliance, board support, and entity management within a supportive high growth financial services business.
It’s an ideal role for someone in their second company secretarial position who is detail-oriented, eager to develop, and motivated to grow their career.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Organise, prepare and circulate agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and AGMs/EGMs.
- Take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge forms with Companies House.
- Maintain statutory books and registers of members, directors and secretaries.
- Ensure annual confirmation statements and event-driven filings are submitted on time.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and advise on actions.
- Support governance colleagues with ad hoc projects and office management tasks.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Part or fully CGI qualified (or studying towards).
- Some company secretarial experience, ideally gained in professional services or in-house.
- Familiarity with entity management systems such as Blueprint or Diligent Entities (advantageous).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines independently.
