Senior Consultant – Professional Services 

£Competitive Package, London, Hybrid (WFH 2 days) 

Our client, a highly reputable and high-profile advisory firm, are looking for Senior Consultant to join their fast-growing London office on a hybrid basis. You will form part of a high calibre team responsible for delivering an extensive range of corporate secretarial and governance services for their UK entities of our Global clients.  

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough reviews of company secretarial work, including board minutes and resolutions, shareholder resolutions and statutory filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 

  • Monitor adherence to internal processes, standards and best practices, identifying any gaps or inconsistencies. 

  • Ensure that all statutory filings comply with the Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulations. 

  • Maintain oversight of electronic corporate records using Diligent Entities to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance and undertake any statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies. 

  • Work closely with team members to provide feedback on their work, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring high-quality service delivery. 

  • Supporting on adhoc projects and training for the wider team. 

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications 

  • CGI part or fully qualified (candidates with direct experience, with the ambition to complete their CGI qualification will also be considered). 

  • 2-3 years in a governance focused role, with experience using Diligent Entities. 

  • Prior experience working in another professional services firm would also be desirable.  

Attitudes and Behaviours 

  • High attention to detail, with exceptional organisational, project management skills and the ability balance conflicting deadlines. 

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 

  • A team player, who can work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, as well as being able to work proactively and autonomously when needed.
