Overview
We’ve been instructed by a well-renowned membership organisation, located in London, as they need to hire a Senior Governance Manager into a great, and very collaborative team. You will report to the Head of Governance and provide strategic leadership to ensure the organisation runs effectively and stays ahead of the curve. Finding the right candidate who strives for excellence and ensures their stakeholders are advised on governance best practice is essential. The role will involve elections of new members, inductions and training, as well as governance support to their subsidiaries. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Advise and support the organisation’s Board, Committees and Subsidiaries
- Assist with providing good, professional and practical governance services and advice and lead on high profile governance projects, including review of committee membership.
- Play a key role in the onboarding, induction and training of senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Partner with the Chairs who coordinate the work of the governance bodies with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the effective and efficient operation of these bodies
Experience and Qualifications
- Ideally CGI qualified or on track to completing qualification.
- Good governance experience in a similar environment

- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with people of varying importance
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Team-player who can work well individually but also within a team
