Company Secretary Manager

Overview

A renowned investment manager has asked for our assistance in finding them a senior cosec professional to join their London team. The role, which will give you exposure to the Board and managerial experience, will see you acting as Secretary to the group and its subsidiaries; providing board support, taking minutes and managing a team. If you have solid company secretarial experience, particularly of board and non-executive management, and have led a small team, then do get in touch!

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of Board support, including; taking minutes, setting agendas, liaising with the chair
  • Responsible for all aspects of Asset Management Executive Committee support, including; setting agendas, liaising with the chair, minute taking and action tracking
  • Manage the sub team of four to five in giving board support to the group’s Asset Management entity boards
  • Preserve and update the Subsidiary Governance Manual

Experience and Qualifications

  • ICSA qualified (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Proven Company Secretarial experience (preferably within a financial services environment)
  • Experience working with non-executives and regulated entity minute taking
  • Experience of Diligent Boards/Entities
  • Knowledge of corporate calendar and cycle

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well individually and prioritise workload
