CGIUKI writes to City Minister to urge the government to fix the UK's delisting problem

On Friday 5th January, Sara Drake, CEO of CGIUKI wrote to Bim Afolami MP, the Treasury Minister, urging him to call an emergency meeting to review the UK's delisting problem.

In it she states that “It is time for the debates over the future of the London Stock Exchange to translate into action.”

She asks that “We urge you to convene a meeting of key institutions urgently” and warns that “Without immediate action, we believe risk to the relevance of the London market will continue.”

Research has shown that good governance is a major strength of the London markets and CGIUKI is ready to play its part in this important discussion.
