Judging Criteria and Nomination Guide
The CGI Jersey Awards are open to all Jersey-based CGI members at any level, working for private, public and not-for-profit organisations. The Judges will accept nominations for both individuals and teams.
Nominations may be self-nominated; or submitted by a colleague, line manager, client, or by a nominee’s Board of Directors.
The Awards for 2024 are:
- Private Client Team of the Year - New Award
- Corporate Services Team of the Year
- ESG Initiative of the Year
- Diversity & Inclusion Award
- Governance Team of the Year Award
- Risk and Compliance Award (Team Award)
- Executive - One to Watch (Individual Award)
Multiple entries: Multiple entries across a range of Awards categories are invited. Please be sure to enter information which is specific to the Award entered (so even when submitting multiple entries, please review the criteria of each and tailor your entry accordingly).
Stand out from the crowd: The Judges will be looking for entries which stand out from the crowd with examples of where you have gone over and above technical excellence; this may be evidenced by client testimonials, or with a comment from colleagues or your manager.
Your entry: The preparation of entries is reasonably straightforward, simply provide a rationale for your submission, including details of your team, areas of expertise, structure and process and essentially highlight your ‘edge’.
It should encapsulate the essence of your team, highlight your specialised knowledge and outline your operational framework. It is essential to articulate what sets you apart from your peers.
By providing these details, it will allow the judges to make informed decisions based on merit and distinction.
Finally, if you would like to discuss your entry with a representative from the CGI Jersey Council, please contact the CGI Jersey Chairman, Tony Wood at tonywoodjsy@gmail.com
Deadline: The deadline for entries is Friday, 23rd August, after which Short-listing will take place. Short-listed nominations will be announced w/c 9th September. The Judges will then conduct interviews in mid-September and decide on the Award Winners.
These will be announced at the CGI Jersey Annual Dinner, Awards & Graduation ceremony at the Royal Yacht, on Friday 11th October 2024.
