Luke is currently the Company Secretary of Softcat plc, a FTSE 250 company.
He has more than 25 years’ experience as a company secretary across various business sectors, and previous roles include William Hill plc, Centrica plc and Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc. He has provided input and guidance on multiple governance and statutory developments and is a former listed company representative on the Companies Committee of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).
Luke has provided extensive support to the Institute in the development and qualifications of its students. He has been a Chief Examiner at the Institute for over 15 years, having also been the author of various Institute official study texts. He is currently the Chief Examiner of the Institute’s Company Compliance and Administration module.
